Dans la continuité de mes recherches sur la représentation et l’appropriation du réel, TOPOLOGIES marque une radicalisation plastique et expérimentale en proposant de déployer la photographie en volume et en monochrome sans pour autant altérer les captations originales. Se focalisant sur les notions de temps et d’entropie, de strates et de matières, d’empreintes humaines et de matrices duplicables, la série tente d’élaborer un alphabet du paysage contemporain et de retranscrire poétiquement une forme d’archéologie du présent.
Continuing my research on the representation and appropriation of reality, TOPOLOGIES marks a plastic and experimental radicalization by deploying photography in relief and monochrome without altering the original captures. Focusing on the notions of time and entropy, strata and materials, human imprints and duplicatable patterns, the series attempts to develop an alphabet of the contemporary landscapes and to poetically transcribe a form of archeology of the present.
